Protect the stars of your potential

Daniel's vision shows a painful moment. The evil horn grows as high as the host of heaven, casts some of the host and stars to the earth, and tramples them. This is a vivid warning for brilliant, high-achieving Christian students. When you begin to succeed, you may become a target for pressure. You get the scholarship. You land the internship. You score the highest grade. Your success can bring glory to God, but it can also expose you to pride, exhaustion, comparison, and temptation. Stay vigilant. The enemy may not use a frontal attack. He may use the heavy weight of perfectionism. He may whisper that you need to cheat just once. He may use fatigue to crush your joy. If God has raised you to shine in your classroom, guard your heart. Stay on your knees in prayer. Do not let pride convince you that you cannot fall. Trust in the Lord's strength, not your own brainpower. He is the One who keeps your light shining in a dark sky.
