Day 141 May 21, 2026 Past Day

Peace with unanswered questions

Daniel 12:9

29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, so that we may follow all the words of this law.

Deuteronomy 29:29

Bible Reading

Daniel 12:9

9 “Go on your way, Daniel,” he replied, “for the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.

We live in an age where answers are expected to be instant. If we have a question, we pull out our phones and expect a solution in seconds. Because of this, we have lost the ability to sit peacefully with mystery. When a college course becomes difficult and the concepts do not make sense right away, our modern minds panic. We feel like failures. But look at Daniel. He asked a serious question, and the angel answered, “Go on your way, Daniel,” because “the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end.” God did not give Daniel the answer, and He was not being cruel. He was being a perfect Father. God knows exactly how much your mind can carry in this season. If He revealed the full timeline of your future career or gave you PhD-level understanding before you were ready, it could crush you. Sometimes understanding is withheld until the right time. Your job is not to know everything today. Your job is to obey the gentle command of heaven: go on your way. Do today’s homework. Read today’s chapter. Embrace the mystery. Trust the process. Rest in the God who holds every sealed answer.

Action Point

Identify one worry you have about your future career or an advanced class. Write that worry on a piece of paper, fold it up, and place it in your desk drawer. Decide to leave it there and focus only on completing today’s assignments with excellence.

Prayer Point

Lord, thank You for protecting my mind from things I am not yet ready to handle. Forgive me for demanding instant answers. Give me the peace to go on my way today, trusting that You will unseal my understanding at the right time. Amen.

Reflection Point

How much mental energy am I wasting on sealed future problems instead of focusing on the clear, present tasks God has placed in front of me?
