Day 119 April 29, 2026 Past Day

Highly precious and very strong

Daniel 10:19

9 Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

Bible Reading

Daniel 10:19

19 “Do not be afraid, you who are highly precious,” he said. “Peace be with you! Be strong now; be very strong!” As he spoke with me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, for you have strengthened me.”

Imagine standing before the most challenging assignment of your life. Your hands are shaking. Your mind is blank. You feel small, inadequate, and afraid. Daniel also felt weak in the presence of the heavenly messenger. Then the messenger spoke: "Do not be afraid, you who are highly precious. Peace be with you! Be strong now; be very strong!" Those words strengthened Daniel. They were not empty encouragement. They carried the reassurance, peace, and strength he needed for the moment. This is the power of God's word over your academic life. When you feel crushed by pressure, you need the voice of heaven more than the voice of panic. In Christ, you are not defined by your lowest grade or your hardest class. God can speak peace into your anxious mind. He can give strength to your weary brain. You do not have to generate courage on your own. Receive His word, believe it, and return to your studies with steady confidence.

Action Point

Write the phrase "Do not be afraid. Peace be with you. Be strong now; be very strong" on a sticky note. Place it on your laptop or mirror. Read it out loud when you sit down to study today.

Prayer Point

Lord, I am listening for Your voice today. Speak peace into my academic anxieties. Remind me that I am precious to You in Christ. I receive Your strength now. Help me tackle my studies with courage.

Reflection Point

How does knowing I am precious to God change the way I view a failing grade or a difficult professor? How can God's word become my primary source of courage?
