Daniel 11:20-24
20 In his place one will arise who will send out a tax collector for the glory of the kingdom; but within a few days he will be destroyed, though not in anger or in battle. 21 In his place a despicable person will arise; royal honors will not be given to him, but he will come in a time of peace and seize the kingdom by intrigue. 22 Then a flood of forces will be swept away before him and destroyed, along with a prince of the covenant. 23 After an alliance is made with him, he will act deceitfully; for he will rise to power with only a few people. 24 In a time of peace, he will invade the richest provinces and do what his fathers and forefathers never did. He will lavish plunder, loot, and wealth on his followers, and he will plot against the strongholds—but only for a time.
God values your character more than your GPA. The world may say the end justifies the means. It may say that as long as you get the degree and the job, it does not matter how you did it. But Daniel 11 describes a despicable person who seized the kingdom by intrigue and lavished plunder to gain influence. Sadly, students can imitate this pattern when they cheat on exams, plagiarize essays, or manipulate their way to the top. God calls you to a higher standard. A grade earned through deceit is not a blessing. If you build your academic house on lies, it will eventually collapse. Walking in integrity gives you a quiet conscience and deep peace. It is better to receive a lower grade honestly than to pass through deception. When you do your own hard work, you honor the Lord and build a mind capable of serving others well.
Action Point
Review the academic integrity policy in each current syllabus. Make a firm commitment before God that you will not plagiarize, cheat, or cut corners, no matter how difficult the class becomes.

Heavenly Father, purify my heart and my study habits. Give me courage to do honest work, even when I am exhausted. Protect me from the slippery slope of deception, and help me walk securely in Your truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
