Conquer the enemy within
19 Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
Proverbs 12:19Bible Reading
Daniel 11:25-28
25 And with a large army he will stir up his power and his courage against the king of the South, who will mobilize a very large and powerful army but will not withstand the plots devised against him. 26 Those who eat from his provisions will seek to destroy him; his army will be swept away, and many will fall slain. 27 And the two kings, with their hearts bent on evil, will speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for still the end will come at the appointed time. 28 The king of the North will return to his land with great wealth, but his heart will be set against the holy covenant; so he will do damage and return to his own land.
God loves you deeply, and He has placed real potential in your mind. Sometimes we think our hardest classes or strictest professors are our greatest enemies. But Daniel 11 reveals that a powerful king was undermined by those who ate from his provisions. His defeat came from within. In your academic life, your greatest threat is rarely the syllabus. It is often your internal habits. Procrastination, fear of failure, lack of sleep, and social media addiction can sweep away your academic potential faster than a difficult exam. God wants to help you conquer these internal enemies. He gives the fruit of the Spirit, including self-control. When you partner with the Holy Spirit, you can rebuild your daily routines. You can silence the lies that tempt you to cheat or cut corners. You can protect your commitment to God while earning a degree that serves His purposes.
