Daniel 6:19-23
19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the den of lions. 20 When he reached the den, he cried out in a voice of anguish, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?” 21 Then Daniel replied, “O king, may you live forever! 22 My God sent His angel and shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, for I was found innocent in His sight, and I have done no wrong against you, O king.” 23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den, and when Daniel was lifted out of the den, no wounds whatsoever were found on him, because he had trusted in his God.
Imagine checking your body after a wrestling match and finding no bruises. Imagine walking through fire and not smelling like smoke. That was Daniel's testimony. He spent the night with hungry lions, yet "no wounds whatsoever were found on him." Why? "Because he had trusted in his God." Faith is not a denial of danger. It is confidence in the God who rules over danger. In your academic journey, you may be thrown into dens: a difficult major, a toxic lab environment, or financial lack. The lions may roar. They may threaten your GPA and your peace. But when you trust God, walk in integrity, and cast your cares on Him, you can come out the next morning whole. You will not look like what you have been through. You will not sound like a victim. You will emerge with a testimony. The world may expect you to break, quit, or drop out. But by God's grace, you will rise early, answer with peace, and return to your assignment. Why? Because God still sends His angel. You are not just a student; you are a guarded asset of Heaven.
Action Point
Do a mental and spiritual body scan. Are you carrying injuries from past academic failures, such as fear, doubt, or shame? Give them to God. Claim the promise of wholeness for your future.
Prayer Point
Father, I thank You that You are the God of the morning. I believe in You. I trust You to shut the mouths of every lion in my path. I declare that I will finish this degree whole, healthy, and victorious.

Does my confidence come from my preparation or from my God? It should be both, but God is the One who shuts the mouths of lions.
