Daniel 8:12

Daniel 8:12 is painful because truth is treated with contempt. It is not honored. It is not protected. It is flung to the ground. Many students know this battle. A lie can seem easier than confession. A shortcut can seem easier than study. A copied assignment can seem easier than honest struggle. A false image can seem easier than humble growth. But truth is never your enemy. Truth is God's gift. Truth may expose weakness, but it opens the door to healing. Truth may reveal that you are behind, but it shows where to begin. Truth may humble you, but it will not destroy you. Lies promise safety, but they create bondage. Truth may feel costly, but it makes you free. Today, lift truth again. Tell the truth about your habits. Tell the truth about your progress. Tell the truth about your need for help. Tell the truth before God. Then take the next right step.
