Restoration has a timeline
10 And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.

Daniel 8:13-14
13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, “How long until the fulfillment of the vision of the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and of the host to be trampled?” 14 He said to me, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be properly restored.”
Daniel hears a comforting promise. The terrible destruction will not last forever. After 2,300 evenings and mornings, the sanctuary will be properly restored. If you have failed a class, or if your GPA has dropped badly, you may feel like a destroyed sanctuary. You feel trampled. You may think your academic career is ruined. You ask God, "How long will I feel this lost? How long will I feel this behind?" Listen to the promise of heaven. Your failure is not final. Your confusion has an expiration date. God is a God of restoration. He can rebuild your mind and your study habits. But notice the measurement: evenings and mornings. Restoration happens daily. It does not usually happen overnight in a flash of magic. It happens as you wake up and read. It happens as you study before bed. You put the bricks back together one day at a time. Do not quit. Keep counting your mornings and evenings. By God's grace, your academic sanctuary can be restored.

If you are recovering from a bad grade, set a timer for 15 minutes tonight and 15 minutes tomorrow morning. Use these short bursts to review your hardest subject. Begin the rhythm of daily restoration today.
