22 He instructed me and spoke with me, saying: “O Daniel, I have come now to give you insight and understanding.
Friend, we have all stared at a textbook that felt like a foreign language. You read the same paragraph five times. Your eyes glaze over. The formulas look like random marks on the page. Frustration builds. You begin to wonder whether you have the ability to pass the class. Daniel was facing a mystery he could not solve by himself. He was reading prophecy, and he needed help. God did not leave him in the dark. Gabriel said, "O Daniel, I have come now to give you insight and understanding." God is the author of all knowledge. He invented mathematics. He designed the laws of physics. He understands the human body, language, logic, and history. And He is willing to help His children learn. When you hit a wall in your studies, do not close the book in defeat. Do not call yourself stupid. Close your eyes and ask the Master Teacher for help. Say, "Lord, I lack insight. Please give me understanding." He may bring clarity at your desk. He may prompt you to ask a professor. He may lead you to a simple explanation. However He does it, He can bring light. Trust the Teacher, and keep working.

Take the one concept you are struggling to understand right now. Search for three different explanations of it: a book, a video, and an article. Ask God to use one of them to give you insight today.

Lord, You are the source of all wisdom. I am struggling to understand my coursework. Please give me insight and understanding. Let the confusing concepts become clear in my mind today.
