The great exchange

There is a great exchange available to every student. You bring your confusion to God, and He gives clarity. You bring your questions, and He gives wisdom. But the exchange happens at the counter of prayer. Proverbs 2:3 tells us to "call out to insight" and "lift your voice to understanding." God is the Author of all knowledge. He created physics. He created language. He created history. Who is better able to teach you than the Creator? But He invites you to ask. He wants you to seek Him. When you are stuck on a paper, stop and pray: "Lord, help me write this." When you are confused by a formula, stop and pray: "Lord, show me how this works." This is not cheating. This is dependence. Do not study alone. Study with the Helper.
Action Point
Create a short SOS prayer for when you get stuck in your studies: "Lord, I am stuck. Open my eyes. Give me insight now." Use it immediately the next time you struggle.
Prayer Point
Father, I admit I do not know everything. I need You. I cry out for Your wisdom to flood my mind today.
Reflection Point
Do I view prayer as a last resort when I fail, or a first response to help me succeed?
