4 if you seek it like silver and search it out like hidden treasure,
Imagine a man with a shovel standing over a patch of dirt. He knows there is a box of diamonds six feet down. How does he dig? Does he dig casually? No. He digs with energy. He digs with joy. He sweats, but he does not quit. He ignores the blisters. Why? Because of the treasure. Solomon says to seek wisdom like silver and search it out like hidden treasure. This is the secret to academic motivation. If you are bored with your studies, you may have lost sight of the treasure. You think you are only moving dirt. You are not. You are digging for your future. You are digging for God's truth. Every chapter you read brings you closer to the gold. Every assignment you finish clears away the dirt. Change your perspective. Put on your helmet. Pick up your shovel. The treasure is there, but it waits for the one willing to dig.
