13 Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who acquires understanding, 14 for she is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire compares with her.
Who is the richest student on campus? Is it the one with the sports car? Is it the one with the trust fund? According to Proverbs 3, it is the one who has found wisdom. Solomon had more gold than he could count, yet he looked at wisdom and said it was better. Why? Because money is a resource, but wisdom is a source. Money can be spent, but wisdom can generate more. When you study, you are accumulating capital. Every concept you master is a deposit in your internal bank. When you graduate, you may have debt in your bank account, but if you have wisdom in your spirit, you are wealthy. You have tools to build a life, solve problems, and create value. The world pays for value. So do not envy the student with easy money. Choose understanding. You are becoming rich in wisdom. Keep digging. Keep learning. Your payout is coming.
