Proverbs 3:9-10
9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
Imagine having a business partner who owns the company but lets you manage the profits. He asks for the first portion to be returned as a sign that you recognize His ownership. Would you cheat Him? That partner is God. In your academic journey, you are stewarding what He gave you. He gives you brainpower. He gives you energy. He opens doors to school, training, and opportunity. In Proverbs 3:9-10, Solomon reminds us to honor the LORD with our wealth and with the firstfruits of our harvest. Maybe you do not have a salary yet. But you have time. Do you give Him the firstfruits of your time? You have talent. Do you use your first and best energy to serve Him? The promise is rich: barns filled with plenty and vats overflowing. This is the secret of a life that does not run dry. The student who honors God does not treat resources as random. Their supply is refreshed by the Owner. Today, look at what is in your hand. Honor God with it. Watch Him multiply it.

Identify the firstfruits of your current main resource, whether study time, money, energy, or talent. Then make one meaningful act of giving or dedication with that resource today.

Lord, I want my barns filled. But more than that, I want to honor You. I declare that You are the source of my success. Take the firstfruits of my life. Multiply them for Your glory. Amen.
