We all want the X that marks the spot. We want the treasure: the 4.0 GPA, the diploma, the great job, the respect. Proverbs 2 is the map. But it is not a map for tourists. It is a map for miners. The chapter opens with a challenge: "if." If you accept. If you cry out. If you seek. If you search. It demands effort. It demands sweat. God does not drop wisdom into lazy minds. He buries it deep so that the diligent will search for it. Then comes the promise: "then." Then you will understand. Then you will find the knowledge of God. Then wisdom will enter your heart. Then discretion will protect you. Then you will be delivered from evil. Then you will walk with the good. Then you will dwell in the land. The "if" is hard, but the "then" is glorious. As a student, you are in the "if" phase. You are digging. You are sweating. You are saying no to distractions and sin. Do not give up. The map is accurate. The treasure is real. God is the Giver. Keep digging, and you will strike gold.

Read Proverbs 2 aloud again. Turn verses 1-4 into a personal pledge: "I will seek." Turn verses 5-22 into a personal claim: "I will find."
