The graduate of wisdom

Proverbs 3

35 The wise will inherit honor, but fools are held up to shame.

Proverbs 3:35

Bible Reading

Proverbs 3:35

35 The wise will inherit honor, but fools are held up to shame.

We have walked through the halls of Proverbs 3. We have sat in the lecture of the Wise Father. What is the graduation requirement? It is not a 4.0. It is not a perfect résumé. It is a heart that trusts, a hand that gives, a spirit that accepts discipline, and a life that stays humble. The student who learns Proverbs 3 is anchored. When they are confused, they trust God (v. 5). When resources feel tight, they honor God (v. 9). When they fail, they learn from God (v. 11). When they are stressed, they rest in God (v. 24). When they succeed, they help their neighbor (v. 27). And in all things, they remain humble (v. 34). This is the profile of a wise student. This is the student who inherits honor. The world chases honor, but the wise student receives it as part of walking with God. As you close this chapter, do not just close the book. Bind these truths to your neck. Write them on your heart. Walk out the door as a student of the Most High.

Action Point

Write a Contract of Wisdom based on this chapter: “I, [Name], promise to trust God, honor Him with my firstfruits, and accept His discipline...” Sign it. Keep it in your Bible.

Prayer Point

Father, thank You for this curriculum. I graduate from the school of selfreliance and enroll in the school of trust. Make my life living proof of Proverbs 3. Let me walk in wisdom, safety, and honor all the days of my life. Amen.

Reflection Point

Am I building a resume, or am I building a life?
