15 The LORD made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.
Jeremiah 51:15Bible Reading
Proverbs 3:19-20
19 The LORD founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding. 20 By His knowledge the watery depths were broken open, and the clouds dripped with dew.
When you look at a skyscraper, you know there was an architect. You know there were blueprints. You know there was a foundation. Proverbs 3:19 tells us that the universe is a skyscraper built by God. His blueprint was wisdom. His foundation was understanding. This means reality is not random. It is structured. It is logical. It is knowable. For you as a student, this is wonderful news. It means that no matter how hard the subject is—quantum mechanics, advanced Greek, or macroeconomics—it has order. It flows from the mind of God. And because you belong to God, you can ask the Architect for help. When you get stuck, do not only stare at the book. Talk to the Author. Say, “Lord, You founded this. Help me understand it.” Study the world as if you are walking through a museum dedicated to your Father’s genius. It changes everything. You are not only learning facts. You are seeing traces of His wisdom.
Action Point
Take the subject you find most difficult. Write “Founded by God’s Wisdom” on the cover of your notebook. Approach it today with the expectation that it can make sense.
Prayer Point
Master Builder, I stand in awe of Your creation. Thank You for making a world that can be known. Grant me wisdom to understand the works of Your hands. Establish my mind as You established the heavens. Amen.
Reflection Point
Do I treat my studies as a secular chore or as a sacred exploration of God’s wisdom?
