Bible Reading

Proverbs 4:17

17 For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

You would not eat food from a dumpster. You would not drink poison. But every day, students feed their minds with garbage. They scroll through hours of negativity. They consume the bread of cheating by copying answers. They drink the wine of drama and conflict. Solomon warns us that this diet is deadly. It shapes you. If you eat wickedness, wickedness grows in you. If you consume shortcuts, you become a person of little depth. But there is a better table. Wisdom has set a table. It is full of the bread of knowledge and the wine of inspiration. It takes longer to chew. It requires effort to digest. But it builds strong bones. It builds a powerful mind. Today, check your menu. What are you consuming? If it is toxic, spit it out. Go to the library. Open the Good Book. Open your textbook. Feast on truth.

Action Point

Do a 24-hour digital detox. Avoid social media. Choose only educational or spiritual content. Notice how much clearer your mind feels.

Prayer Point

Father, cleanse my appetite. I reject the bread of idleness and sin. I hunger for Your Word and for excellence. Feed me with the food of wisdom. Amen.

Reflection Point

What mental or physical junk-food habit do I need to cut out to improve my grades?
