Daniel 7:4
4 The first beast was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted up from the ground and made to stand on two feet like a man and given the mind of a man.
It is easy to admire the lion. It is strong, majestic, and winged. It rises above the rest. In school, we admire the genius—the one who gets 100 percent without trying, the one who wins every award. But God looks deeper than visible strength. In Daniel's vision, the lion was changed. Its wings were torn off, it was lifted from the ground, made to stand like a man, and given "the mind of a man." Strength was humbled and made human. That matters for students. God does not want you to become a smart machine. He wants your intellect to be governed by wisdom, humility, and love. If you gain the whole world of academic honors but lose your soul, you have lost what matters most. Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord today or rededicate your life to Him. True excellence is competence with character. It is strength with humility. It is a brilliant mind guarded by a faithful heart.

Prayer Point
Father, thank You for my mind. But please, guard my heart. Do not let knowledge puff me up. Let love build me up. Make me a scholar with a servant's heart.
