The turning of the tide

Daniel 7:19-22
19 Then I wanted to know the true meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others—extremely terrifying—devouring and crushing with iron teeth and bronze claws, then trampling underfoot whatever was left. 20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell—the horn whose appearance was more imposing than the others, with eyes and with a mouth that spoke words of arrogance. 21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the saints and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days arrived and pronounced judgment in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for them to possess the kingdom.
Have you ever felt like you were losing the battle? You study, but the grades do not improve. You try to balance your schedule, but chaos keeps winning. Daniel saw a vision like this. He saw the horn waging war against the saints and prevailing against them. It was a frightening sight. It can feel like the reality of the mid-semester slump. But Daniel did not stop watching. He watched until the Ancient of Days arrived. This is one of the most hopeful words in life: until. Your failure is temporary. Your confusion is temporary. God has an appointment with your situation. When He arrives, the judgment shifts. The gavel falls in your favor. The kingdom that seemed lost is suddenly given to the saints. Do not quit in the middle of the battle. Wait for the until. The Ancient of Days is on the move.

Prayer Point
Father, I am waiting for You. The battle is hard right now. The beast feels strong. But You are the Ancient of Days. Come into my studies. Turn the tide. I receive Your verdict of victory.
