Daniel 8:1
1 In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar, a vision appeared to me, Daniel, subsequent to the one that had appeared to me earlier.
God is a God of order and progression. He does not overwhelm us with everything at once. In Daniel 8, Daniel receives a vision that comes after a previous one. This is how we learn in school. We start with the alphabet before we write essays. We learn addition before we study calculus. Sometimes we get frustrated. We want to understand the hardest topics immediately. But God wants us to respect the process. Every class you take is a building block. Every assignment prepares you for the next one. When you feel stuck, remember that learning is progressive. Trust the step-by-step journey. Do not despise the basic classes. They are the foundation for your future academic visions. Your understanding will grow brighter and brighter as you keep working hard.
