The campus as a cathedral
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 1:7Bible Reading
Proverbs 2:5
5 then you will discern the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.
We often think God lives in the church and visits the library occasionally. Proverbs 2:5 corrects that small view. It tells us that the result of diligent, treasure-hunting study is discovering "the knowledge of God." Your campus is a cathedral. Your classroom is a sanctuary. Why? Because there you study God's works. When you look through a microscope, you are looking at God's brushstrokes. When you study law, you are studying questions of justice. When you study language, you are studying communication, a gift from God. The successful student realizes they are walking on holy ground. They study with reverence. They take exams with the fear of the LORD. They know that every truth learned can become a glimpse of the Divine. Stop separating your faith from your schoolwork. Bring them together. Let your pursuit of the A become a pursuit of the Alpha and Omega.

Lord, help me to see You in my textbooks. Let my education lead me to Your throne.
