The secret reserve

Imagine you are playing a video game. Some items can be found anywhere, but "legendary items" are locked in a special vault. Only players with the right key can open it. Proverbs 2:7 tells us that God has a vault. Inside is sound wisdom—solid, practical, victorious wisdom. It is the kind of wisdom that helps you face the test and solve the difficult problem. But the key to this vault is not IQ. The key is integrity. God "stores up sound wisdom for the upright." He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. When you choose not to cheat, you are inserting the key. When you choose to study when no one is watching, you are turning the lock. The world thinks cheating is a shortcut. But cheating locks you out of God's vault. It leaves you defending yourself. The upright student has God as their Shield and His reserves as their supply. Today, protect your integrity. It is your access pass to wisdom.
