The seductress’s main argument was, “We will not get caught because the authority figure is gone.” This is the oldest trick in the book. It is the lie that anonymity equals immunity. In your studies, you may feel anonymous. You are one student in a lecture hall of 300. The professor may not know your name. But there is a Higher Authority. And there is the law of sowing and reaping. Even if the teacher is away, the appointed day is coming. The final exam does not care whether you were unsupervised. It only asks whether you are prepared. Live in the light of the appointed day.

Look at your calendar. Count the days until your next major exam. Divide your study material by that number. That is your daily quota. Start today.
