Every student lives at the crossroads. You wake up and face a choice: hit snooze or review your flashcards. You sit in the dining hall and face a choice: gossip or discuss the lecture. You approach registration and face a choice: take the easy professor or take the one who will challenge you. Proverbs 8:2 tells us that wisdom takes her stand right at these intersections. She does not hide in a cave. She is right there in the middle of your busy campus life. The difference between a struggling student and an excellent student is often what happens at the crossroads. The excellent student pauses. They look to the heights. They choose the path of discipline, integrity, and focus. They understand that a degree is built one decision at a time. God is practical. He wants to help you manage your time, choose your friends, and write your papers. He is standing at the intersection, ready to give you direction when you ask.

Identify one academic decision you need to make this week. It could be choosing a research topic or deciding how to spend your Friday afternoon. Before you decide, pause and ask God for wisdom. Choose the path that leads to excellence.
Prayer Point
Father, thank You that You meet me at the crossroads of my life. Help me make wise choices today. Give me the courage to take the narrow path of discipline instead of the wide path of laziness.
