The treasure chest of the mind
11 I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
Psalm 119:11Bible Reading
Proverbs 7:1
1 My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments within you.
Imagine your mind is a chest. It is meant to hold gold. It is meant to hold jewels. In your classes, you are given these jewels. Every fact is a gem. Every principle is a diamond. Solomon tells us to treasure commands. But often, our chest has a hole in it. We let the jewels fall out. We listen, but we do not hear. We read, but we do not understand. We must patch the hole. We must value the treasure. When you value something, you protect it. You guard it. You check on it.
